Keeping your personal data safe

Personal information includes amongst others : your last name, your e-mail address and your user name.These information are strictly personal and you should never give them to anyone. For your safety, we recommend that you never use your personal information when setting either a username or a password.

Setting a secure password

You must keep your password secret and should not give it to anybody with the exception of your parents or guardian. You best friend is not supposed to know your password ! To set a secure a password, we advise you to avoid combinations that are easy to guess by others. You must use at least one CAPITAL LETTER and a special SYMBOL (! @ # $). Do not use your birthday, name or home / school address.

Sharing kidscode projects

When you register on kidscode, we will create a personal account for your wherein your progress and projects will be saved and will not be visible to anyone. Parents and teachers can choose to share kidscode project with their friends and family through e-mail or social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus. It will also be possible for teachers and parents to publish a collection of these projects as a shared file. It should be noted that when projects are shared, they become public and people with access to the project link can (re)view it. Finally, parents and teachers can manage the privacy settings when sharing projects.
